- What is self storage and how does it work?
Renting a storage unit is a great solution to clear up some much-needed space at home or to hold much needed business items. All of our storage facilities offer clean, secure storage solutions at affordable prices.
- How much does self storage cost?
Our rates vary between unit sizes and type of storage. For more information about our pricing, check out our rates page.

- Are there any items that I am NOT able to store?
Liquids, explosives, flammable liquids, toxic materials, and perishables. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding a specific item.
- What is the best way to pack a unit?
Larger and more infrequently used items should go in the back of the unit. Remember to keep a walkway in the center of your unit to more easily access items. Always keep items labeled and a list of items stored, even a photo on the outside of each box will allow you to "see" what's inside.

- When can I get to my storage unit?
Our gate hours are from 6 AM to 10 PM, 7 days a week. Visit early ahead of traffic or swing by in the evening without rushing. Need to visit on the weekend? No problem.
- What are some helpful tips for moving into my unit?
We pride ourselves on making things as simple as possible for our customers. For helpful tips on packing and organizing your unit, head on over to our storage tips page.
- Do I have to sign a long-term lease to store with you?
Not here. You’ll store on a month-to-month basis without getting locked into a long-term lease that you can’t break.
- How do I move out?
Let us know in advance that you’re ready to move out. An email, phone call, or in-person visit is enough. After that, you can clean out your storage unit and throw out any trash. Thank you for letting us serve a member of our community!
- What apartments are you close to?
We’re near Santree Commons Apartments, Carolina Pines Apartments, Andrews Park Apartments, and more!
- Where is Storage Station located?
Storage Station is located at 1350 Washington St, Williamston, NC 27892—just minutes from Greenville, near Walmart, Taco Bell-KFC, SECU, and Highway 64/I-87.
- What are your office hours?
Our office is open Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
- What items am I not allowed to store?
For safety and legal reasons, you cannot store perishable food, flammable liquids, explosives, hazardous materials, or illegal items.
- What documentation do I need to rent a unit?
You’ll need a valid photo ID, such as a driver’s license or government-issued ID, to rent a unit.
- What storage options do you offer?
We offer climate-controlled storage, drive-up access units, and outdoor parking for RVs, boats, and vehicles—all with 100% ground-level access.
